Luca Naudszus

Luca is our intern and master student from May 2024 to January 2025. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology and is currently doing a Master’s in Neuroscience at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf/Germany.
Interested in the foundations of human individuality, Luca has had insights into various disciplines of psychology and neuroscience. He focused on personality psychology first, before an internship at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig on episodic memory and mental future simulation sparked his passion for neuroscience. This is why he started pursuing a second master’s program during which he gained experience in neuroanatomy, naturalistic neuroscience, and programming. In addition, he conducted studies on interindividual differences in dream content at Duisburg-Essen University/Germany.
At the SBS lab, he will expand these viewpoints by a social neuroscientific perspective, working with Ryssa Moffat on prerequisites for interpersonal synchronization in the body and the brain during open, intergenerational interactions.
Luca will probably spend at least as much time on his master thesis as on singing and playing the piano. Apart from that, he enjoys hiking, reading, and eating limes in his free time.
