A Popularity Contest at the Robotic Petting Zoo': The SBS Team reincarnates their popular public engagement piece as part of the 2025 Bits 'n Bolts Festival

The SBS team was delighted have the opportunity to recreate their public engagement art/science exhibit titled 'A Popularity Contest at the Robotic Petting Zoo' as part of the external page 2025 Bits n Bolts Festival.  The SBS Team partnered once more with former team postdoc external page Associate Professor Ruud Hortensius  (now at Utrecht University) and artist external page Merel Bekking to bring the exhibition back to life - and thanks to a wonderful effort from many SBS lab members who helped out as volunteers throughout the weekend, the exhibit was a great success (and provided a lot of fun) for the public once again! We are already looking forward to thinking how we might contribute to the next instalment of the external page Bits n Bolts festival in 2027!
