Visiting Researchers

Micol Spitale is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano/Italy), and a Visiting Affiliated Researcher at the University of Cambridge. Currently, she is an academic guest at ETH Zurich's D-GESS at the Social Brain Sciences Lab.

Her research lies at the intersection of Human-Robot Interaction, Social Artificial Intelligence, and Affective Computing. Her recent research focuses on Social Robotics, specifically developing robots that are emotionally and socially adaptive to promote wellbeing through "coaching."
