Carina Sofie Abbasov

Carina is a Master's student from April to October 2025. She has a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience with a focus on Cognitive Neuroscience and is currently completing her Master's degree in interdisciplinary Brain Sciences at the University of Zurich and ETH.

At the SBS Lab, she will be working with Dr. Ionela Bara, using eye-tracking and pupillometry to investigate the role of the Rückenfigur (back-viewed figure) in shaping aesthetic experience and visual attention.

In her free time, Carina enjoys a little bit of everything but especially traveling, writing, and drawing.
