Behavioral Studies Colloquium
The Behavioral Studies Colloquium was organized by the Social Brain Sciences Group in the Fall Semester of 2023 and the Spring Semester of 2024. The Professorship Security, Privacy and Society of Prof. Verena Zimmermann organizes the current colloquium.

The Behavioral Studies Colloquium is hosted by all professorships within the Behavioral Section of D-GESS: Prof. Ulrik Brandes, Prof. Emily Cross, Prof. Dirk Helbing, Prof. Christoph Hölscher, Prof. Manu Kapur, Prof. Martina Rau, Prof. Christoph Stadtfeld, Prof. Elsbeth Stern and Prof. Verena Zimmermann. It takes place every semester and is organized by a different professorship each semester. Prof. Emily Cross organizes the current colloquium.

The Behavioral Studies Colloquium offers an opportunity to discuss recent and ongoing research and scientific ideas in the behavioral sciences, both at the micro- and macro-levels of cognitive, behavioral and social science. It covers a broad range of theoretical and empirical research areas, including social psychology, higher education, learning and instruction, cognitive psychology and cognitive science, sociology, modeling and simulation in sociology, decision theory, behavioral game theory, and economics.
The colloquium features invited presentations from internal and external researchers as well as presentations of doctoral students close to submitting their research plan. Participants are informed about recent and ongoing research in the different fields. Presenting doctoral students obtain feedback on their research plan.
